Redone!  Sorry about that.  It seems that the forum doesn't like when you remake a poll.

It's working now. Thanks, LF!

Please don't waste money on a plug-in ! Unless you charge people who want to opt in to that facility to get automatic emails.

Just vocalizing here... if the votes do go higher for the emails, can I opt out of receiving the birthday emails? I really don't want too much junk.

Also, there's no mandate to pay for it right? There's no way I'm paying to receive junk emails. I'm happy to occasionally supporting the forum to keep running (not this year, paycuts due to covid), but not paying for junk emails.

You won't get birthday emails if you don't list your birthday on your profile.
And I really, REALLY don't think there would be a mandate. This isn't that kind of place. 🙂

I know you won't get them if you don't list your birthday. I'd just hate to see the forum as a whole pay for something like that. It seems - a bit silly.

It would only be one email received per person, IF they registered their birthday. So by not registering your birthday then you should not receive even that single email. I do understand that you want to avoid spam and unnecessary emails 💜

I am not sure how the small plug in cost would be covered, but I cannot imagine that anyone who didn’t want that feature would be asked to pay for it!
