The suit of clubs known as acorns is the suit of winter. There are many who live winter, its beauty, traveling in a crispy winter morning.

It is a sign that life goes on, and perhaps spring will come if we can just winter here.  That was a big thing in the old days and even older days to find a place to winter, or hibernate sort to speak since the bear is here.

Looking at the mountain i think of everest movie and the reason why someone would climb the mountain.. not to get to the other side via the mountain pass but because it is there!!.

If you think of stores,  and chickens farmer rely on in the winter, the worst thing to run into is mice eating at your grain or your precious chickens being eaten by foxes.

Course one doesn't usually run into snakes or bears in the snowy winter.. but snow isn't every where in the winter so i think bears and snakes become mean in the winter months.

Clouds in the winter is a dangerous thing as it could lead to the dangerous blizzards, and heavy cold.

The birch with punishment might mean it flies easier in the winter.

I think of the ring and one may romanticize it as yes marriage, a reason to velebrate. But as the embodiment of the hardships that winter entails..it stands for in olden days doing your duty to your partner.. there was hardly any divorce so you had to endure your spouse meaness.. maybe even the birch. Why would you marry if not for love.. i already said duty, for family name.. to stay off the streets.

The suffering of the cross is meaningful as the beginning of winter, the crops are in, so one is expected to go to church more.. but it is the faith that will get us through hard winters imo.

Caitlin calls the path of fate, i like andy take on it being that it relates to how these things dominate us as the path of strife.

I go to church seeking refuge from my suffering. I pray for relief. It is known that the father is a good learned man to help me for i can't even read so i trustin his teaching.  I tell him my secrets trusting it won't lead to the inquistion. With my faith i carry on.

I get home and discover mice.  Those little bastards cost me much grief and tears  for they bit my friend and they got sick.

I have to go over the mountain to get medicine for my loved one. It will be a path full of difficulty i have to do it out of necessity i mean who climbs a mountain for fun.

The fox steals my food one morning. I didn't take enough.precautions. the cunning fox has bested me but i will lie a trap and make a totem out of fox jide on way back.

I am on way down from the mountsin and holy , i run into an angry hungy bear!!. It can do what it wants long as it leaves me alive as i high tail it.

I run and run  and get taught for trespassing. They think i am the one stealing chickens and proceed to tan my hide as i scream the fox did it!! I start to fear i will get beaten to death.

When the older woman steps in to save me. She says she has to use the snake venom to cure me. And only she has the anidote. For a while i am under her power .

I escape one night on a cloudy day. I finally make it town. Wonder if i even meed the medicine as it been nearly a month or 2 , who can tell when it is so cloudy. The older man offers to take me to his home and feed me. I awake and he introduces me to his daughter.

You will marry her and give mean offspring. And you will watch my feilds or i will kill you here.

Don't you need a dowry or something.

Who will come out here for we are isolated. He says.

So here i am in a crossbow wedding. This is my dread for how can we love each other.  Yet she tries. Maybe i mught give it a go.. after all i had nothing before.. gee i wonder how my sick friend made out .ah well such is life.

Oh i picked the thelema lenormand for it is beautiful.
