I lost a draft

I've recovered drafts in the reply box before, but this was a new topic with a fair amount of work done uploading photos, etc. 
How can I get it back? CAN I get it back? Thank you.

Never mind, I got it back.
I went back to make a new draft and it popped right up!
Give the forum software a cookie from me. 🙂

yeah the saved draft feature just uses cookies. When you return to the same box, it should bring up anything you haven't finished and posted. I am glad that going to write the topic again brought up that draft, phew!

I have lost really long posts and topics before, it's not 100% reliable. I've noticed if your browser crashes or you delete or lose the cookie between visits, it's gone 😞 we have no way of seeing or finding the draft posts.

The feeling when you have lost all that work! 😭 Glad this time it was saved

Yes, I think I've had that happen in the past. I have one of those cookie killing browser extensions, but I've disabled it here. There's no real need for it and it can have unwanted effects!
