I've been using Tarot since around 2012 on and off. I mostly read for myself and have quite a large collection of decks, including oracle decks. Recently I've been trying to get back into learning Lenormand. Every so often I like the directness of Lenormand and Kipper instead of Tarot, which I find is generally more in depth. Not sure if I've explained that properly but hopefully it makes sense.

I'm looking forward to being a part of the community here and getting to know everyone.

Welcome to the community @Panda glad you have found us here :animated-smileys-signs-085:

Totally agree with you and I find I use the different systems for different types or questions in divination. I found that as well. Lenormand and Kipper are great for a direct predictive reading about the next month ahead. Tarot gives you all the themes and influences going on in the month. Sometimes I want one type of reading and other times a direct one 😀 anyway welcome!

Thanks everyone for your warm welcome. Or should that be welcomes!

Thanks Daniel. I'm glad my post made sense regarding the different systems. One method I've been using lately with Tarot, is to pull a card before I go to bed, asking what I should be thinking or focusing on. It never ceases to amaze me how to the point and accurate this has been. It's always a very quick read but that is all that is needed. So in some instances Tarot can still be useful for direct, in your face type of readings, though not quite in the same vein as Lenormand or Kipper.

Interesting comment about the directness of Lenormand. We have such an active Lenormand group here.... maybe I should see what the fuss is about!

I like different decks for different types of query, too.
