It was about which side signifies the known part and which one the unknown - I liked that it showed the little differences in reading without veering off the cards essence. 21 hours ago, timtoldrum said: The Dondorf, used by my Aunt, had a Sun breaking through the clouds at sunrise. I believe that is why she saw the Sun as able to mitigate the Clouds. And most likely, it did actually work like that for her, did it not? 21 hours ago, timtoldrum said: I do believe that our first or main deck colours a lot. It’s why it is so important. This is here to be highlighted. As far as the original topic goes, this is it for me - going further would become hypothetical, at least on my part; something I do not deem necessary. Still, there is a question remaining: I do believe that you, @timtoldrum, are the person who first introduced the now widespread idea of the cards "essence" to the english-speaking (if not entire) Lenormand-world (or the lenormand-part of the cartosphere, as it was coined by @JudyReadsCards). Can I take that as a fact? Either way, would you be willing to disclose the origins of the idea? For the usefulness of it is indeed tremendous.
