Newbie needs help

Is it ok even as a newbie to ask for help on cards that I pulled for myself? And where would I ask that?  Thanks in advance 🥰

Hi @SamT, welcome to the forum 🙂

You need to get to 5 posts, just 1 more to go! When you get to 5, the exchange areas of the forum will unlock for you and you become a full member of the forum with access to all the features.

 

It is fine to post your own readings for interpretation. You need to post it in the Personal Tarot Readings section when it unlocks for you.

 

The exchange sections have rules that you need to follow carefully. They are always pinned at the top of each section in that area.

but basic overview.....

 

- start a thread in personal tarot readings with a subject of your reading

- post your reading and give as much detail about it as you can, what spread did you use? what deck?

- it's important (and a rule in the area) that you have to have a go at interpreting it yourself first. So you need to say what you think each card means in your reading and what you think the reading means to you. You can use websites and books of meanings to help you.

 

Hopefully you will then get people who help you out and give you their views and interpretations

 

- to thank the people for their time and energy, you need to give them feedback (also an important rule in the area). So you need to reply to each person and say how it helped you and can you relate to their ideas? To help them for the future.

 

That's everything. So we totally welcome people posting their own readings but the key things are that you need 5 posts to access the area, you need to interpret the reading yourself first for replies and you need to give feedback on the posts 🙂
