Elemental influence in card spreads

Hi I was wondering how many people use elemental dignities, in there spreads. I have been surprised  how informative they can be when no specific question has been asked.....

I use EDs instead of reversals.

Yes, I use elemental dignities in playing card readings. Specially because the method I use is the Playing Card Oracles, and elemental/suit interplay is super important in it. 

 

I like it a lot, because the elements (and general numerology too) can give me a general "atmosphere" of the reading before I even get to the individual card meanings themselves. So it's very informative and enriches the interpretation. Also, it helps determine whether a card is showing its most positive or negative aspect in a particular spread.

 

How do you use it in your readings, @Mr Green?

I've always felt pulled toward elemental ideas and practices. Using playing cards in relation is intriguing. Would you use them in a spread like any deck?
