gregory Posted October 1, 2021 Posted October 1, 2021 (edited) Does anyone else here own this deck ? I seem to have absolutely unique packaging, but I cannot actually believe this... I bought it new in 1990 - and mine had no plastic case, as everyone I have spoken to say theirs has. Mine has rather fine boards tied with green cord. They REALLY don't look the kind of thing that's hand made by an owner.... Anyone ? Edited October 1, 2021 by gregory
gregory Posted October 3, 2021 Author Posted October 3, 2021 NO-ONE ???? This is driving me nuts.....
gregory Posted October 4, 2021 Author Posted October 4, 2021 (edited) At least two people on the collectors' forum have it - neither with any kind of packaging, though. But if someone made their own cards to stick on - they are AMAZING craftspeople ! And Adam has it (or had): https://www.alchemywebsite.com/tarot/database/record1567.html You can find it if you google ideabag tarocchi.... Edited October 4, 2021 by gregory
gregory Posted October 4, 2021 Author Posted October 4, 2021 At least four people now certainly own it. And it is mentioned on a few blogs belonging to people I am sure none of us lent it to. I don't want to be nasty - but I am very seriously looking for info here - both for myself out of interest and also for a serious researcher - and you aren't actually helping. ☮️
gregory Posted October 4, 2021 Author Posted October 4, 2021 I didn't want to be nasty. So I included a peace sign, But I really am trying to find out stuff here.
gregory Posted October 5, 2021 Author Posted October 5, 2021 No - perfectly ordinary heavy card. As far as I can tell, so are the cover boards - they give more than I would expect from wood.
gregory Posted October 20, 2021 Author Posted October 20, 2021 WELL - research by the guys who are working on other aspects of this deck has turned up another from the same company with the boards, so at least I can be fairly sure that they are "original"...
