Amberjune Posted October 9, 2021 Posted October 9, 2021 Thank you for the new spread VG! My decks are the Roches Tarot and the Cat Land Oracle Deck. Happy week to all.

Thanks VG!🍁 Can’t wait to see the Tarot of the Crone in action! What a beautiful deck. I’m in with the Tarot of the Witches by Fergus Hall. 👁️
toj Posted October 10, 2021 Posted October 10, 2021 I am going with The Radiant Tarot - Pathway to Creativity, which was released this week and I picked up today at a local bookstore.

This deck is easy to read from and I love the color palette. One of the reasons I bought it was because I am wanting to nudge my intuition/creativity a bit in different directions and this one does a good job of it. Not sure if this will come out how I mean it, but the cards give me more positive, grounded thoughts than I might have pulling the same exact ones from another deck. It comes with a nice book that gives color pictures of the cards and 2-3 pages devoted to each one. While totally different types of decks, the yellows made me think of the Anna K deck. Attached are a few pictures of my favorite cards and the first few pages of the guidebook.

Oh nice!! I love the Ellen Cannon Reed deck too!! (It’s a weird one, weirder than the Fergus Hall, but I love it.) Do you use it much? Can recommend the Fergus Hall, it is beautiful, reads true, and the pips are quirky and distinct. Edited October 11, 2021 by vulprix
Bodhiseed Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 Welcome back @toj! That Radiant Tarot is lovely!
Bodhiseed Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 From the Tarot of the Crone, Death; from the Transforming Dragons deck, Zorradion: There is nowhere else to go Something has to change And that something is you ~Ellen Lorenzi-Prince Accepting a loss means we must be wiling to deal with grief and the emptiness it brings. While that doesn't seem that doesn't seem very comforting, the alternative (in Lorenzi-Prince's words) is much worse: "Deny what is passing, and you may never be free, dragging a corpse along with you into your future." And it gets heavier to pull each passing day. Zorradion is connected to spite, things done with a desire to offend or hurt someone. In other words, we become the pebble in someone's shoe. Why do we react like this after a loss? We take out our anger and heartache on those who won't likely to counter attack us, using them as the dumping site for the pain we don't want to acknowledge. Spite can only be transformed through tenderness, first toward ourselves, and then toward others. You don't blast a heart open. You coax and nurture it open, like the sun does to a rose. ― Melody Beattie

I ended up getting the Reed one because it was getting harder to find at the time and went OOP not too long after I bought it. Wish I could remember who talked me into it at AT but he said it was his main deck and always read well for him, as it does for me. Don’t get it out too often, but will soon. Yes it is weird, but I kind of like that. Now to find a Fergus Hall deck! Edited October 11, 2021 by toj
