Lay your cards out in the following pattern: 3 cards in one row for the positions N, E, and W and 4 cards in a second row below for the positions Y, E, A, and R.

Position N: What does the querent Need to know about the coming year?

Position E: What will Evolve in the new year?

Position W: What Wild surprises are in store for the querent?

 

Position Y: What does the querent Yearn for that will be granted in the coming year?

Position E: What will the Energy of the entire year be like?

Position A: What are the toughest Altercations or challenges that he will encounter?

Position R: What will the querent Reap in the new year?

 

 

This is a slightly altered form of a spread that caught my attention in AT. Many enjoyed it and found it highly informative and insightful. I hope you will too.

You don't have to, MysticoftheDamned. I only adapted it from a 2004 thread in the defunct AT, and the one who introduced the spread is anonymous so please feel free to just use it. :)
