tipofyourstar Posted December 11, 2021 Posted December 11, 2021 I don't know how long I've been using this spread, but it's been helpful in figuring out whatever I have a question about (the subject). Basically, - The Subject (on top, by itself), which is what the rest of the cards will be answering. - The Advice, (three cards in the middle), where each card elaborates further on what to do regarding the subject in question (this is also a great way to mix another deck in). - The Outcome, which is the bottom card, which is what happens if you take the advice cards regarding the subject. It doesn't mean it will happen - it is what will happen if the advice is followed. I actually don't know if this spread exists but it probably does, but it's the one I like to use when I need some advice on what to do. I find this deck to be maddening sometimes when the advice isn't something I can follow, but it can be reassuring to know that there is solutions to my problems! I usually use this with oracle decks but it works for tarot, too. Hope it can help other people.
katrinka Posted December 11, 2021 Posted December 11, 2021 That's a variation of the Tirage en croix. A lot of versions exist, but Wirth's is probably the most well known. See #7 here: https://traditionaltarot.wordpress.com/2020/04/03/the-tarot-mirror-of-the-world/

Now that I think about it, I think I used an app that had that tirage en croix method. Thank you!
