Ah, the article I linked to. I thought you meant I posted one here.

But it doesn't fit the Tower, even when "ill aligned." My purpose in posting it was to highlight the difference in Narcissistic Personality Disorder and Narcissus in the mythic sense. Spending too much time looking in the mirror is not a symptom of NPD, in case anyone wasn't aware.

In any case, it's irrelevant to the Tower.

A tower house is a rational defense. It housed nobles, and the people in them could see the approach of enemies from a distance and send for troops.
Not at all the same thing as a narcissist going ballistic because they think Jerry Garcia's Sugaree is some kind of coded message that the household is plotting against them.

I can not deduce a psychological "trait" like narcissism from cards.

Narcissism will appear in the cards much the same as other medical conditions by describing the core symptomatology.

That comes under the aegis of the Ring. 
 

In addition people distance themselves from people from others for multiple reasons.  Plus one person’s reaction to another does not equal diagnosis. That would be supposition.
 

Anyway, I only intended to add my opinion which I did. I would not desire to derail or take the thread off-topic.

Here in germany, deducing medical conditions from cards is a straight ticket to devils supper.

If asked, you refer the people to a doctor, they are the only (!) ones who - by law - are allowed to make a diagnosis.

The attempt to do so otherwise - even if you are a practitioner of complementary medicine - is punishable. Is it the same where you live?

Somehow, this became super tower-focused. Blame my inexperience with online communication, if need be.

 

It would come under the illegal practice of medicine — whether or not the reader was a qualified medical professional or not.  Nevertheless there is a difference between reading to to clarify or to diagnose and then treat (illegal) than just recognising a red flag. 
 

The cards will describe medical conditions and procedures — just as they do appearances, professions or anything else.  As an astrologer.  So just as the scythe + man + fish can tell me my client’s husband was having a vasectomy (genuine example) it could also tell me they guy’s a loan shark. 

 

When I refer to the ring as chronic or terminal it’s because of it being a circle. There is no start or finish.  I mentioned the tower because Decan’s post mentioning arrogance. I cannot see the card’s connection to narcissistic traits or arrogance. But that is me.
