jaygon Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 This deck was recently recommended but I can’t seem to find it on the MPC website. Has it been deleted/made OOP? I’d really like to purchase a copy. best, Jay
gregory Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 (edited) Very likely the creator listed it with a time limit - MPC seem to like you to do that... I never did SEE it on MPC - but is it connected with this little lot ? https://threehundredandsixtysix.wordpress.com/2019/12/08/the-c-s-tarot/ Edited January 19, 2022 by gregory
DanielJUK Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 I found some talk on Google about the Study Deck and it's based on the Pam A. I wonder if they breached RWS copyright?
gregory Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 NO; a) copyright is DONE now, no matter whose POV you try and take and b) the scans for it were, IIRC, from a deck owned by the person who posted the scans.
jaygon Posted January 19, 2022 Author Posted January 19, 2022 Thanks Gregory, I might contact those involved in that link. I did manage to get a copy of the 1909 Art Restoration Deck. Very pleased with it. J
mhayed Posted September 29, 2022 Posted September 29, 2022 I'm limited in how many words i can post. But, I found Makeplayingcard .com and the 1909 on DrivThru Cards. I can't put an images or urls.
jaygon Posted September 29, 2022 Author Posted September 29, 2022 I do have a copy of the 1909 from DriveThru but can’t seem to secure a copy of the PAM A Study Deck on MakePlayingCards. I believe it has been deleted from their available decks. If it seems otherwise, please do direct me!
jaygon Posted February 11, 2024 Author Posted February 11, 2024 I am still on the hunt for a copy of the MPC Study Deck. MPC have certainly stopped printing it. Has anybody come across a used copy for re-sale?
DanielJUK Posted February 11, 2024 Posted February 11, 2024 You are welcome to ask about sources for the deck online, but asking members and ISO posts must be in our Trading Section according to the rules and it's a subscriber section. All trading in threads must be in that section 😉
jaygon Posted February 11, 2024 Author Posted February 11, 2024 Thank you and apologies! I will take it to the relevant section 🙂
jaygon Posted February 11, 2024 Author Posted February 11, 2024 Ps. You might direct me to that section ; I don’t see it 🙂
DanielJUK Posted February 11, 2024 Posted February 11, 2024 Sure, it's over here - https://www.thetarotforum.com/forums/forum/23-tarot-trading/
jaygon Posted February 11, 2024 Author Posted February 11, 2024 Apologies to be a pest but the link states ‘ ‘Sorry! We could not locate the item you are trying to view’. 😞
DanielJUK Posted February 11, 2024 Posted February 11, 2024 Sorry, it's a subscriber only area as a perk
undwrias_har Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 Hi everyone 🌝 I ordered a Roses and Lilies Bright deck from MakePlayingCards, precisely from Conrad Steyn’s page, but unfortunately I have encountered problems after shuffling them, because they soon have damaged. Some of them opened on the side. I would have expected a better quality from MakePlayingCards. Have you experienced the same problem? Has anyone tried the 1909 Art Restoration Deck? What about its quality?
DanielJUK Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 It's best to contact the person you ordered the deck from there? They might be able to replace it / refund. Printing mistakes do sometimes happen 🙂 .
undwrias_har Posted May 16, 2024 Posted May 16, 2024 Hi! Thank you for your reply 😊 I did it and they asked me some money to replace some cards… I have paid, since I wanted to replace the worst ones, but I won’t think I will shuffle them again… that’s why I was wondering if this was only a problem of mine. I would give a try to The 1909 Art Restoration Deck from Drivethrucards but I would like to hear from someone who owns it if it is a good deck to be used and not merely to be collected. Thank you 🤗
jaygon Posted January 8 Author Posted January 8 I notice that MPC has the Study Deck for sale once more. Is this the exact same deck as before/same creator? Or has the design/card stock been changed? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
