katrinka Posted February 16, 2022 Posted February 16, 2022 Woot! A first edition with square corners!
Cynthylee Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 I believe it is not without reason that the Tarot has gone from the sharp corners of the past to the rounded corners that are so popular now... But if this is the cards that belong to you, what the heck! I think the user's own feelings are the most important.
Raggydoll Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 I agree that the users own feelings are the most important. I typically end up rounding the corners of any decks that come with pointy corners. It just doesn’t feel good to shuffle otherwise. But I have no problems with creators releasing decks with pointy corners. It’s so easy for me to fix. So creators should do what they want and then the user should do what feels best for them.
Rosebud Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 Maybe you can do both version available? By then you can see which card do well for the customers 😁
bastetly Posted May 8, 2022 Posted May 8, 2022 So I will say this again. There are corner rounders w a very slight corner rounding option. That said, I agree w Rosebud, the 2 options would be more considerate.
gregory Posted May 9, 2022 Posted May 9, 2022 Unless you are with a POD printer, that massively raises the cost....
Niobium Posted May 9, 2022 Posted May 9, 2022 (edited) I'll be honest I'm liking the square corners on this stock and run. They suit it more. On a different style of stock, rounded would make more sense, maybe. As gregory said, it can be very expensive to do both, so I think this was the right choice. Edited May 9, 2022 by Niobium
gregory Posted May 10, 2022 Posted May 10, 2022 I'll let you know what I think when I get mine WOOT !
