Quinn64 Posted February 12, 2022 Posted February 12, 2022 I need an opinion, or several. I have the legendary Lenormand book by Andy B. I am now looking at The Art of Lenormand Reading: Decoding Powerful Messages by Alexandre Musruck as a suppliment. I like to look at 2 sources when learning something. Does anyone know this book and/or have an opinion on it/ I am as beginner as they come, not even familiar with Tarot. I own Grand Tableau that says Lo Scarabeo? It is italian I think. It looks like the Blue Owl cards. I also have the Gilded Reverie, which I know, from being here, that it gets mixed reviews.

Does anyone know this book and/or have an opinion on it/ I'd avoid Musruck. He bangs out as many books and decks as he can, all quantity and very poor quality. You really don't need a "supplement" with Andy's book, it's better to just concentrate on it until you've fully absorbed it. Later, you could add Bjorn Meuris Petit Lenormand Encyclopedia Volume 2 to flesh out your distance reading. But it would be overload in the beginning.
DanielJUK Posted February 12, 2022 Posted February 12, 2022 I've moved these posts and made them into their own little thread in the Lenormand section. We try to keep non-introduction discussions out of the Introductions area as we want them in their own sections 🙂 This will bring further discussion and help other people in future
WizardintheWoods Posted February 23, 2022 Posted February 23, 2022 I have to agree, Musruck’s info leads down roads I have never seen before, I warn people away from his work. Stick to one source until you have it down pat, that will serve you best especially if it’s Andy B’s work.
