Maya Takamura's Decks

Maya Takamura is one of my favorite artists and she did two Decks, sort of.

 

 

One deck, Zektbach, is only 10 specific cards. It's based after a story that came about on a series of music videos that she drew. Some of the characters on the cards don't actually show up in the videos, but rather appear in the lore of that particular story.

 

 

The videos are linked in order below. They are roughly about 2 minutes long each and the music that accompanies the videos is quite beautiful imo.

The second deck is only a Major Arcana deck, which makes me sad because her art is so beautiful, I would love a full 78 card deck with her art to actually read with, but I know what an undertaking that can be.

 

You can tell by the box that it's made to collect, to display.

 

 

The cards are equally as beautiful and comes with some bonuses. A cover card, a postscript card, and a card of all the characters drawn cutely. The postscript is in Japanese so I unfortunately cannot read it

 

 

Then on the back of the postscript card is the general product information, the back of the other two cards are the same, and the back of the rest of the cards as well.

 

 

The cards themselves are also very beautiful. My favorite in this deck is The Star.
