American Renaissance Tarot

Does anyone have or have any experience with the American Renaissance Tarot? Being a bookish person, I am drawn to this tarot, though it seems it would be more of a personal reading deck than one used for others.

I'd never heard of it, so I had a look. I ended up ordering *shakes fist*
I really don't care much for the art. It's not bad art, just flat and uninteresting. I prefer decks I enjoy looking at. But the concept is wonderful. It seems well done, so hopefully that will compensate for the art. I think it would be fine for client readings. If in doubt, just preview the book at amazon and decide for yourself. Skip the introductory bits where they keep telling you it's a great deck and go to the parts where they talk about the cards.

ETA: Cancelled it. I'm going to live without it for at least awhile longer and decide.

@katrinka, Like you, I like the concept but not the art so much. I think it might collect dust in my Amazon cart.😂

Thanks for bringing this up.  I like literature theme decks. I might take the hit for all of us and spring for it!  But for now still in the cart . . .

The art kind of appeals to me in a way I would describe as there is honesty in the art. There is nothing superfluous. But it's just my opinion.
