Hello everyone! New here on this site! I’ve had my tarot cards for a couple years now and dabble here and there.

I do have a question though if I may. Do you believe that you should specifically use the guide book for the cards that you are using? For example, the art in the cards I use are not the same of the Rider Waite. Therefore the description is slightly different.

Welcome to our community @Precious glad you have found us here :animated-smileys-signs-085::78496:😀

About your question, sometimes other decks have their own little book with it or you can get one or download a PDF from the artists site. So sometimes there are some ideas different to the Rider Waite standard ideas.

Personally for me, I always read what is in the cards first and form my own ideas, that is always more important than other books or interpretations because they are just some other views.

I found some old threads on the forum discussing this if you want to browse sometime.....
