Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro I'm not sure where everyone is but I'm in the UK and shipping from almost anywhere is soooo expensive. At least Yves is in Europe. I think I will probably get the Madenie and his new Conver direct from him and save on postage! Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
EmpyreanKnight Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 I also have Yves' 2012 Madenie, and I agree that it is a veritable wonder. So unrelentingly beautiful.
ayuryogini Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 I love the TdM as well. I’m pretty new at it. Camelia Elias is a teacher I adore. She offers a lot of online info and articles. And when she teaches an online class, it’s always reasonably priced and done very very well, with a lot of engaged participants, helpful Keynotes and mp3s to download after. Can’t recommend her highly enough.
EmpyreanKnight Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 The Uusi Eros Tarot's assault on my waking dreams has been quite relentless. Methinks it's only a matter of days before I succumb to her charms.
Therese Posted December 14, 2017 Posted December 14, 2017 I like TdM's too very much. I find it not difficult to read them, in fact I find it much easier. Does anyone own the Budapest or Rosenwald Tarot? They are looking nice.
Saturn Celeste Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 I learned how to read tarot with the JJ Swiss deck. I still have a special place in my heart for Marseilles decks. I have a few and so does my son.
3illYazi Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 Just got Yves' pressing of the Conver, and it's probably the closest to perfect I've seen for that version of the TdM. The Noblet is probably still my go-to, but this one is gorgeous. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
EmpyreanKnight Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 I'm excited for the gold-foiled Burdel Marseille from Lo Scarabeo to make its presence. It can definitely be a game-changer, at least for me. What can I say, I'm a Philistine magpie.
EmpyreanKnight Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 To all our Tarot de Marseille aficionados, dancing_moon has just set up our forum's very first TdM reading circle. Be sure to catch us there!

EmpyreanKnight Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 You're welcome, Saturn. I'm so excited for this! ;D
Guest Posted June 6, 2018 Posted June 6, 2018 Does anyone own the Budapest or Rosenwald Tarot? They are looking nice. Sorry to keep resurrecting old threads; I've got a little catching up to do around here! Therese, I have the Budapest and you should have it too. It's a thing of beauty, and functional to boot! Throwing in the Vieville (not strictly a TdM, but related) as my new favorite deck. It's the whackiest thing I've ever seen.

Penthasilia Posted June 10, 2018 Posted June 10, 2018 I have finally jumped in completely since finding one that I like! I look forward to more TdM discussions here. That being said- still working on which system I am going to consistently use for the pips. I have seen a ton of different variations floating out there- but nothing seems to grab me as of yet.
Lance Posted July 20, 2018 Posted July 20, 2018 Yep, I love the minors. I never liked RWS I use standard numerology
Bonefire 277 Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 I have the large plastic Conver, trimmed it and edged in gold texta, looks ok. Have the Budapest, a bit clunky to look at but a handy size for shuffling and reads well. Bought a Lo Scarabeo gold foil Visconti Sforza. Cardstock is a bit thin. Recently picked up an Yves Burdel. I like the colours and style of drawing in this deck. This deck is my main TdM now. Have read Camelia Elias' Marseille Tarot book. Quite a good read.
Flaxen Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 Thanks for bumping this thread. The Yves Burdel is just stunning, isn’t it? I haven’t had any disappointments with the decks I own by him. My two current favourites for reading with are the Noblet and a small Japanese version of the Pierre Madenie (I think she may have been influenced by Conver too)- Mamanmiyuki. I find the smaller size of these two suits me better for reading with. If Yves ever produced a poker sized deck, I’d be all over it. [emoji4]
Yves Le Marseillais Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 Bonjour and Hello, Here are some pics of my two new historical tarot decks to be issued by end October 2018 coming. Send me your email , name and country to be well informed with my fresh Newsletter in due time. Cordialy, Yves Reynaud
HOLMES Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 you know,, if they made wood cut marsiells illustrated pips cards for the modern age, I would be over that. ! X-D
Tarotphelia Posted September 25, 2018 Posted September 25, 2018 you know,, if they made wood cut marsiells illustrated pips cards for the modern age, I would be over that. ! X-D I think you should get a TDM and work with it , just to see what happens . Go down a new path . Confront limitations . Let the madness flow . 8) These are the TDM and related decks I've accumulated : Ancient Tarots of Bologna Angel Tarot TDM Tarot de Marseille (Héron) Tarot Jacques Vieville Tarot of Marseilles -vintage Grimaud Vandenborre Bacchus Tarot
HOLMES Posted September 25, 2018 Posted September 25, 2018 I tried the marselles.. back when there was a marseilles forum run by diana. I even brought a marseilles and tried to study it with the only marseilles book i could find. Christisn hemeticism journey into the tarot a study on 22 majors. I only got to the lovets. It didnt cover the pips. Though looking at them even in comparision when they were described in the qabalistic tarot by robert wang.. But if the pips minor was wood cut illustrsted by some new artist mean while keeping the mareilles major motiff that could work..i hope major puts Color on that big white space on top on the majors in each card. The one i had had big white space. I forget the name of it now.. lost it in the 2008 move. I remeber picking on reviews images for it was colorful clear.. but not new things added like the newest versiom at the time.
