Raggydoll Posted December 27, 2017 Posted December 27, 2017 This is a spread that I designed for reflecting on the year that is soon about to end. Maybe someone else will find it useful. It is quite a large spread but I wanted something that would sum up this last year nicely. You lay out 13 cards: the first 12 cards are laid in a circle (like a clock) and the last card sits in the middle of the circle. I intended for it to be like the completion of a cycle, with something new that emerges like a small light in the middle of the unknown. 1. Who was I when this year started? 2. What did I strive to achieve this year? 3. What did I accomplish? 4. What got in my way? 5. What lessons did this year have in store for me? 6. Who am I now, at the end of this year? 7. What am I truly passionate about? 8. What new goals have been starting to emerge for me? 9. Something to take with me into the new year 10. Something to leave behind 11. Hopes and/or fears for the upcoming year 12. My most valuable strengths and assets for this new year 13. A glimpse of what is to come
EmpyreanKnight Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 I like this spread, Raggydoll. Bookmarking it. :)
EmpyreanKnight Posted January 6, 2018 Posted January 6, 2018 I will perform a reading using this spread later on, as a valedictory to 2017 (since Three Kings is considered the real end of the season by some cultures) and also to welcome 2018. I'd post a link to it here.
EmpyreanKnight Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 HERE is my own reading using this spread, as I wrote it in my journal. I hope that people would find it instructive or helpful at least. :)
