Hi Michelle!  I'm a relative newbie here myself.  I am also a fan of Benebell Wen, and think her book Holistic Tarot is fantastic.  Hope to see you around the threads. What did you mean about a 'black hole?'  Do you mean your internet is dodgy, or are you struggling with tarot itself just now?

 Yeah, i would like to know that as well. What’s your black hole feeling?

@Riesj-Heart  Hmmm.  Black hole feeling.  If it has to do with a dodgy internet, probably the Reversed 2 of Wands ...little things going wrong, the curse of inconvenience, etc. Advice:  Persist.

As far as struggling with the Tarot?  Dunno.  I wouldn't describe it as a black hole for me. Like lots of others, I had periods where I didn't really use it much—I guess because it was too tempting to rely on it—and sometimes I didn't want to know what it might tell me!  But in general, I haven't struggled  with it.  I just walk away from it now and again for a wee break.

What I do love about it is learning new stuff all the time.  And learning to write down my thoughts and insights (and sometimes frustration) with my readings.  That has really been beneficial for me.  Years ago, when I first started out, I never wrote anything down.  That has changed.  

I think I'd choose the 8 of Pentacles plus Temperance and The Chariot to describe my relationship with tarot.
