Deviant Moon day four 

 

Once again I asked for situation / advice for myself, and drew the Tower and 5 of cups, reversed.

 

 

(No cropping today, apparently)  Because I just drew the Tower yesterday in reference to my father, I felt this was connected to him as well.  

 

Valenza's version of the 5 of cups is quite different.  He sees it as specifically relationship oriented -- a disrupted and disfunctional one, with both parties at fault.  The two upright cups mean there's still potential here; both parties could take steps to repair the situation. "The wall between them is low."  He doesn't say this, but the two standing cups made me think of the two of cups.  Something that started well is not in good shape now.  This is quite intriguing.

 

 

He says the reversed card means the relationship is ruptured beyond repair.

 

To me today these cards point out that my elderly father is going to die at some point and after that catastrophic event I will not be able to repair our relationship.  It's not as bad as the couple on the 5 of cups but it is strained.  I could take steps to make it better.  But if I wait too long, I won't be able to.  A sobering thought, but a good reminder.

In today's reading about my father the Tower came up for the third day in a row.  I'm getting the feeling there is some message I am missing.  Comments welcome.  Also this 8 of swords is very thought provoking for me.

When I saw this Bird yesterday thought:

Oh whoa! how colorful! It will be a crazzzzy day at the Market.

Turns out, it was quite busy with lots of people coming for last minute purchases, but we had rather threatening weather and a nasty T-storm rolled in - and right past us to drench the town and the highway, but left us dry. 

Then there was the most amazing double rainbow, right over the Market area!

Daily Bird calendar divination for Thursday September 1st 2022

 

This little fellar greeted me this morning. He looks a bit sad and pensive, as if to ask:  "So, what now?"

things will shift in a big way around here. 

A sad but necessary thing will be for me to let go of my 3 beloved coon kids. They are old enough to be free, but still soooo small and fragile. We have 3 hungry Bears waiting for just such a morsel....  luckily they are faster than the Bear cubs and they can come home to their stable for the night and for safety......

They also may ask: "So, what now?

Day 6 of Deviant Moon.  I like this deck very much.  Oh, wait, I've liked all three decks I've spent a week with.  I wonder if I'll like every one I try?
