There's a thread in the Decks section about Why Decks click or don't click. Curious to hear your process on that thread ... or perhaps message me if you don't want to discuss on the thread. I'm exploring this whole idea of deck collecting and knowing the hits from the misses. Your post really caught my attention and I'm curious about your experience.

That sounds fun to extrapolate. I'll post there and mention you so you get an notification. Cheers.

Tuesday on Thursday

Card of the day

9 of Earth

Even though I’m not a big bird fan, this is a sweet card.  And not just the birds make it 9 of Earth.  There’s also jewelry and other adornment natural beauty of flowers in the background.

Even though this is the card for Tuesday, I can relate to it for today.  I already had my family Thanksgiving, so I’m in blissful solitude today, enjoying a day without structure and with playing with cards (my personal possessions) to my heart’s content.  I also got my year-end bonus yesterday and might have celebrated with a little deck splurging.  So personal possessions and enjoyment it is!  Lovely card!

And here are my Wednesday and Thursday readings.  I'm really enjoying this deck!  I hope everyone who celebrates has a very abundant and happy Thanksgiving!  I have so much to be thankful for!

I will add, along with my response in this linked thread, that the Slavic Legends tarot seemed, for some reason, to lack the mystery and magical depth of the history they are trying to capture and honor.  The lack of a book, even though one is coming, increased this feeling.

I like Tarot of the Golden Wheel. At first I thought it might be too “pretty” or too soft … but it reads great. And her booklet mentions slavic and russian folklore. I don’t care for the company that released Slavic Legends. As you say … everything looks cartoonish. Which some ppl like … but I like my cards more serious.

I’ve heard this from another tarot reader. They were pleasantly surprised by how much they like this deck.

Hi all!  I'm actually on time this week, only because it's a day off from work.  Last day with the We Are One:

I am enjoying your posts with this deck as well. I’ve been hesitant to invest in any deck with multiple artists as I wasn’t sure it would be cohesive enough to read with, but I think this one works well.

Needing to do a little catch-up here.

I pulled these at 5:56 PM on 11/23 as my card of the day for the Sagittarius New Moon. Two cards decided they wanted to participate together.

12 Perspective (The Hanged Man)

Hot air balloons of many vibrant colors and patterns are filling the sunlit sky at different heights and levels, all floating above the fog below.

Although the image invited the possibility of this being morning or evening, I believe this is morning because 1. I’ve been to a hot air balloon event and early mornings are often the best lifts  and 2) we are most often encouraged to sleep on a challenge or experience and see how we feel or think about it in the morning. Inviting and providing the space needed to have a new perspective.

2. 9P Rx

A beautiful bluebird is about to land in their quaint two-story home with the white picket fence surrounded by luscious green leaves, ferns, orchids. The sun shines brightly into the clearing just above the house where the red roof reflects and invites the bird home.

Reversed it looks as though the house has toppled over and the bird is falling out, trying to get their bearings.

Together I believe the message for me is to embrace a new perspective when what I know or what I am comfortable with gets turned upside down. When in a situation that takes me off balance or out of my zone, take the time and space I need to see from a higher perspective.
