Rider Waite Tarot Description

I hear people often say when creating their own tarot cards they would refer back and study Ryder Wright’s original description of each tarot cards. Where can I find such description on-line? Thanks 😊

Well, for a start it would help your searches if you spelt the deck correctly: Rider Waite.

 

Here you go - Waite's whole book outlining everything. (Rider was the original publisher.)

I've changed the title to the correct spelling and moved it to the RWS section of the forum 🙂

 

There is a web based version as well - https://www.sacred-texts.com/tarot/pkt/index.htm I have that bookmarked.

 

It's out of copyright now and the text is public domain. You can find it as ebooks and books to print on demand. They range in prices, some of the higher prices are a bit naughty seeing as it is free.
