US Games, they're just rock solid on cardstock and packaging. I've never been disappointed in what they've done with a deck I liked.

Agreed on the US Games cardstock—that makes three of us! I think they are probably my favorite publisher for that reason.

I really like Rockpool for these aspects as well.

While I may have a soft spot for indies, I noticed that a sizable majority of my decks are from our better-known Tarot houses.

I like USG and how their cardstock can be absolutely lovely to handle. Schiffer/Red Feather gives the sturdiest and most attractive box sets, while Uusi decks are a study in taste and refinement.

But if forced to choose, I'll have to favor Lo Scarabeo. I like the diversity of their themes, and their beautiful kits with well-written (if not highly erudite) companion books. Most importantly though, I commend their commitment to bring affordable but still high-quality historical decks to the masses. Their Anima Antiqua and Antica Cartomanzia lines are a testament to this.

I am prejudiced in favour of Lo Scarabeo too - and also because of their excellent customer service. But as Akhilleus says - they also work to keep historical and special decks alive - funding them with selling schlock on the side - and fair enough; people want tp buy it, so why not produce it (on excellent stock and with the best tuck-boxes out there ! - to fund the good stuff !

USG are OK, but their decks tend to be less interesting. Schiffer/Red Feather have such variable stock I can't actually recommend them, and Llewellyn stock is plain bad, though at least they have ditched the AWFUL boxes they used to use. !

Lo scarabeo tuck boxes are the only tuck boxes i like so much personally and I'm more into hard packaging thick guidebook side but i do love their tuck boxes and packaging very very much i also do believe for what they publish their decks are definitely on the best prices of the market so many and classics are so affordable to my opinion and historic limited decks for 30$? i find it a great deal
