Tom Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 I'd like to get a Christmas Tarot, the Parisian Lenormand covers Christmas and winter imagery. What other decks are good for winter do you think?
akiva Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 While it's not particularly seasonal, the paysans I use do have a winter vibe to them with their black background. Probably because they're Russian, which instantly makes me think of snow! I'm tempted to get some Christmas themed playing cards. Though not just on the backs but something with Christmas themed court cards! These look quite cosy There's even a Christmas gnome deck on etsy but it's from New Zealand 😵 I should of planned better... Maybe I'll buy them for next year! 😂

You might want to google her if you like that style, her paintings are like the archetypal Swedish Christmas!

This style screams Christmas for me, it reminds me of the Christmas cards from when I was a kid! 😊
Guest Posted December 15, 2023 Posted December 15, 2023 I mostly associate starkly-colored, monochromatic, or predominantly white/black decks like the Linestrider, Hermetic, Gustave Doré, etc with winter. And of course I also include Christmas-themed decks like the Yuletide Tarot.
Morwenna Posted March 3 Posted March 3 I don't have a Christmas- or Yule-themed deck (though several years ago I tried to find one), but I do have decks that feel cozy: Anna K, and Wonderland. Also Victorian Fairy (though the sword suit is anything but cozy!).
