How to create an updatable reply on a topic? Not sure how to ask this question.

Sacred Yule topic is one card per day for 12 days

I would like to create one "reply" to the topic and update it each day.

... instead of making a separate reply for each day.

End result: have all 12 "replies" in 1 post (instead of 12 random posts scattered throughout the topic)

Is this even possible?

I apologize if this question isn't worded right ... or if I'm asking the impossible. I don't yet have the 1000 posts or whatnot to edit my original post the next day.

Hi @Misterei

I understand what you are asking 🙂 . Unfortunately we have had to limit the availability of editing posts due to people joining the forum and misusing the feature to troll. We had many situations of this at the end of last year and most other forums now only allow post editing for 60 mins after posting. So we changed it so everyone can edit posts for only 60 mins here.

Our forum regulars tend not to misuse the feature and so they can edit whenever they want, so unlimited editing is available for subscribers and for any member who gets to 1000 posts+.

I am sorry about this inconvenience but it makes the community a nicer, easier place to deal with.

This particularly shows itself on the threads where you have one post and edit it, because you cannot edit it the next day 😞 . It's a problem in the Sacred Days threads for Winter and Summer.

We suggest just posting it day on day or doing the reading yourself and then posting the whole thing as a final reading. Also if you ever need to edit your own post after the 60mins, just quote yourself. Members continue with creative ways 🙂 .

I notice you are now subscribing so you can do your one post and just edit it day on day now, thanks for supporting us
