@Rachelcat I love your "Lenormand Solitaire" reading! That's a great spread of cards -- a welcome sight. I also really like the art in that deck. You are right about the Key card -- It has to be the best version I've seen yet.

PS: Also that's a great reading and interpretation of your layout with the Russian Gypsy Fortune Telling Cards. I don't read the reversals either. It's too much. In fact, if I remember correctly the system as presented has far too many rules, such as not reading on Sundays. I did laminate my cards and that made them feel much better to me. Of course, they won't fit back into their box, but they were so flimsy! I keep wishing the publisher would correct that problem. (It has been years.) I would buy them again if they did.

I'd link to my New Year's Circle reading once I post my interpretations. But for now, I finally began my Daily Draws. 1 down, 364 to go!

It's great to see your experience with the Russian cards.  And that you came to the same conclusion about reversals.  I'd definitely be in trouble if I couldn't read on Sundays!

The art of the Solitaire is growing on me, too!

Here are my readings for today.  Bear in mind I'm a perpetual Lenormand newbie!

I very much like the Sacred Hag Oracle. the accompanying book is very deep and informative and has daily exercise prompts, that go with each card.

Here is my first reading with it, in the New Year's Reading Circle:

Still having nice, clear readings with the Watercolor RWS. Mostly cutting and pulling a card or two for each question, though I did throw a quick celtic cross on new year's day as I haven't done one in ages.

Looking to get stuck in with the Soul Cats Tarot for the next few days.

Also, relevant to absolutely nothing but I saw a tawny owl flying along the river at the bottom of the garden yesterday and heard it hooting half the night just to confirm I wasn't seeing things. I also finally checked out the noises we heard down there on new year's eve, today and would you believe it... otters!

This is the deck interview that I finally conducted with the Heaven and Earth Tarot:

I had a wonderful week with the Light Seer's Tarot and wrote a bit about it in my journal. I'm glad I find the time to do the tarot work but I can't always write it down. Very stressful times right now but I'm glad that I'm finding my way back to the habit!

@Nemia, it really is a lovely deck!  And I'm glad you had time to work/play with it even if you're stressed.  Hang in there!

Here are my last readings with Lenormand Solitaire and Russian Gypsy Fortune Telling Cards.

I'll see you all tomorrow with new decks!

Only my third rune casting myself.  The dice are 12 sided, and identical --- two sets of three. Not wanting the same rune to appear twice, I only threw one of each.  I should ask some advice on that choice.

I asked a pretty personal question, but I'm showing answer here.  It's fascinating,  but I find myself more connected to tarot.  There is room for both -- if I can grasp the basics and primary differences in approach.
