FindYourSovereignty Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 (edited) For anyone that has been or may be interested in the Sakki Sakki Tarot and companion book Playing with Symbols, you can get on the inside track here for a link to be emailed to you for preorder. It says the decks will be available February 15. Once you provide sign up, you will receive an email to a video where she shares her creative process. She shares in this updated release there will be heads on the images, some color changes, and extra cards. The book will have two additional chapters, if I am remembering correctly. Here is the link to her website: https://sakki-sakki.com This is from the forum Deck Library. Edited January 6, 2023 by FindYourSovereignty
Scarlet Woodland Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 Oh I didn't realise she was making an updated physical copy (confess I zoned out of her emails when she started talking about an NFT version). I have the original, one of my first favs, so will be interesting to see the changes when it comes out.
Hedera Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 Oh, interesting! I used the first edition a *lot* for a while, and I remember loving the guidebook. Not interested in NFTs whatsoever, but a new & changed deck might be fun.
FindYourSovereignty Posted January 6, 2023 Author Posted January 6, 2023 @Scarlet Woodland and @Hedera What are NFTs? I am very curious how the new version is going to shift as in the video she shares that over these last 16 years she has grown and that the first deck was about healing and this one will reflect more about being healed, hence the heads being put on the headless people in the original deck. I don’t have the original deck, but I’ve heard the guidebook is amazing.
Hedera Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 (edited) @FindYourSovereignty:https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-fungible_token Basically, a digital work of art (or any kind of digital content), which you can 'own'... As far as I can tell it's just another way to sell, as we would say in Dutch, 'fried air'. Edited January 6, 2023 by Hedera

Hedera Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 Ha, I like that idea! I never did miss the heads, the cards were very expressive without them, but it did stop me from using the deck much for other people. It sounds like she still feels connected to the deck, but at the same time has something new / more to say.

Yes, I agree. It will be interesting for sure and it does make me curious. I was preparing myself for the images to be headless… 😊 and now it almost makes me wonder how the deck is going to be changed to shift to her new state of mind. Intriguing… at least to me. 😂
Scarlet Woodland Posted January 6, 2023 Posted January 6, 2023 I forgot that they were even headless to be honest. It just fit the deck's vibe 😄
