How do you edit your post?

I made a post and then wanted to add to it but can't find the edit button - it is probably just me missing something but still can't edit.

The edit tool is on the dots on the top right hand corner of posts

However, there is a time limit of 60 mins after posting. After that it disappears. This is because some people abused the feature in the past. Subscribers and Members who get to 1000 posts can always edit their posts.

 

You can always quote your old post and do the edit or correction under it 🙂

Thanks, it was about a couple of hours after the original post that I wanted to add to it, I'll see if it shows up now.  I wondered if it was because I'm on a tablet.🙂

Sadly it's probably not editable now. The forum displays a different version of itself depending if you browse here on a mobile device, larger tablet or a computer / laptop. But the functions work the same, so it's worth just quoting yourself with what you want to edit. If it's really bugging you, contact me or post here and I can edit and change whatever you want for you 🙂

Thanks but I've got it now.  The little edit button is there. 🙂. If I make any really big posts, I'll do what I used to do before, get it all nice and neat in a document and then copy and paste over here.🌞
