The Suit of Wands: Our Inner/Outer Fire 🔥

Featured Replies

I read that Wands are connected to the season of Spring and so that conjures up thoughts of inspiration, vitality, activity, growth, enthusiasm and excitement just to name a few.

It can also represent our personal (fire)power which is the driving force of ambition and subsequently the changes in our lives that happen due to our actions.

Which suit of Wands card(s) are most relevant to you around this time? Optional: Feel free to share why!

My Wands Cards:
- 6 of Wands
- 7 of Wands

All of Winter I've experienced many social situations that required my best patience and understanding. I made it a point to take the high ground, root myself on that stance and to not involve myself in petty heated debates or rumors and to resist the urge to fire back with verbal cannonballs because we all know that just worsens things.

Finally it's Spring time and the timing couldn't be any better because as of late I'm being approached by friends/family/colleagues as a person that they can trust and rely upon to be a source of compassion and positivity. I'm not saying I'm some sort of awesome champion or anything. Just that I've learned and grown from my past mistakes and it's just nice to see results.

I relate wands to summer. wands are fire. fixed fire sign is Leo ... thus summer. But I'm also an astrologer. Why do you relate them to spring?

Hi @Misterei 😊

There's really no hard and fast rule imo and so it's just a matter of preference.

There are some who consider the suit of Wands to be the ultimate symbol of Spring time because they associate Wands with birth, growth and renewal. The Ace of Wands (RWS) is a great example of vitality, procreation and new beginnings both on a visual level and in meaning.

There are some who see the suit of Wands as Summer which works good too! 🔥

I am also in the camp of Wands being related to Summer instead of Spring. I can see why some people relate them to spring due to growth and active energy. There is an older thread here on the forums that discusses all of this as well that you might enjoy. I have referenced it here.

The Queen of Wands for me at the moment. I never much cared for it until recently buying the Tabula Mundi app and finding it rules the first 2/3 of Aries and the last 1/3 of Pisces (sorry about this @Misterei 🤯😹) which includes my date of birth. All of a sudden the information about the 10 of Cups, Mars in Pisces, The Moon, The Tower and the Queen of Wands made sense to me💡. And for once I like the picture.❤️‍🔥

I didn't follow this. Why sorry? @Serpentwand Astrologically some people assign the seasons according to the cardinal sign instead of the fixed sign. Ergo Aries / fire / spring - cancer / water / summer - libra / air / fall - capricorn / earth / winter.

As an astrologer I felt that the fixed sign was more of an indicator of season. Also ... in Californa ... summer is fire season };>
