Has anyone ever read at a pagan festival or open venue?

Hi Friends!

I've read people from my home for many years, but in Oak Park, where I live, there's a yearly pagan festival (http://www.chicagopaganpride.org/). I was thinking about applying for a booth this year. Has anyone here ever had experience with reading in this sort of venue? Did you feel energetically whammied because the crowds were large? Or was it generally a good experience? And how about sales? Did you find you sat around most of the day, or did people filter in for readings? Normally I just attend this venue. Hubby suggested partaking more fully this year.
