Le Fanu Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 I think this deck is part of a general trend that weakly disguises an urge to fill the vacuum left by Doreen Virtue and maybe steal a few sales from Colette Baron-Reid (?) Diaphanous, overly feminine, dreamy photoshop decks. I bought the LoS Thelema which by dint of being the first has a few rougher edges but was rather naughty in appropriating the name Thelema. It still feels empty and bereft of symbolism. The Nuit one is a weird one for LoS to publish but I do think it’s more to grab the diaphanous, overly feminine, dreamy market sector for tarot. You can almost here them - like mainstream movie distributors - oh well, this will finance those obscure historical deck releases that hardly anyone buys. May well be the case. I’ve looked at it again and again and feels like one of many bandwagon decks.
Jewel Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 It really is beautiful. I have to be honest, I much prefer my decks with both male and female characters, this one might really tempt me. The art is just gorgeous and it has no borders. Update ... got this deck in a trade recently. I have not used it yet, but it really is pretty. EK, did you ever get the deck?
