What is your preferred size tarot deck?

Standard - 2.75” x 4.75

Bridge - 2.25” x 3.5

or

Mini - 2 x 3.5

and why?

For me I prefer and collect mini cards as I feel that I have pretty small hands. Also I like the way the mini cards shuffle. But I was wondering how everyone else feels about it..

I've moved this thread over to the Tarot Decks section, fits in best here 😀

Standard for use. Other sizes are fine for study or for carrying in a purse, but standard for choice. Big enough to see the image, small enough to be able to use a coffee table !

I always prefer big decks (3"+  X  5"+). I appreciate the fine detail a vaster visual real estate can give, and since I have large hands shuffling them isn't a pain. But among the choices you gave, I of course prefer the Standard.

I use both standard AND mini decks, depending on circumstances.  I tend to avoid large decks OR modify them.

I have a few large decks that I use all the time, but I've removed their borders.  (The Druidcraft Tarot, The Anna K Tarot, The Everyday Enchantment Tarot, etc.)  Large decks are easier to handle when they are made smaller, and it's easier to do layouts of 7 or more cards AND still leave room on the table to write in my journal, have a cup of coffee, etc.

I always travel with a mini deck or two in my bag.  I use a standard RWS mini deck, a mini Universal Tarot, a mini Llewellyn Classic and a mini Hanson-Roberts.  I used to own a few other mini decks as well, but I gave them away as I found I just didn't use them, for various reasons.
