Accidentally leaving a message thread

One participant in a message group accidentally left it. I treed to invite them to join again but it said I can't because they left the conversation. Is thee any way around this ?

I will send you a PM, I think only they can rejoin the thread, they cannot be reinvited. We shall test it out 😀

They can't see the thread to try and rejoin it (As you now know, as we are testing, but for the info of others...)

This is one I think we have to put down to having no solution 😭 as a forum software safety measure.
