Hi All!

Featured Replies

Hi everyone! Just wanted to say hi from the East Coast of the United States. Admittedly, I'm more of a Tarot collector for the artwork than I am a reader. However, I would like to be able to strengthen that. Thanks in advance for the welcome!

Hi @KingOfPents, Welcome to the community. I am also on the east coast. I collect, although that wasn’t my intention originally, and love to read. Are you into Indie decks or Mass Market or both? There are lots of posts here with links and books to learn tarot, card discussions, and more, as well as many different opportunities to practice reading.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I'm into both indie and mass market decks. If the artwork is speaks to me, it usually gets put on my list of items for purchase. Currently, I'm enjoying a deep dive on the Tarot of the Abyss, which has some incredible imagery.

Aesthetics in a deck is everything for me.  It's the first thing a look at and the sole criterion by which I decide to further consider whether or not to purchase a deck.  I am first and foremost a reader.  Given the amount of decks in my collection, I have finally copped to the reality that I am a Tarot collector, as well.
