Study Group Creation Application

Featured Replies

How this works:

Study Groups are moving to our "Clubs" system.  What this means is that there will be a bit more control for those running the study groups, and the main forum will be cleaner overall.  You will apply here for the member role that will allow you control to create a group.

I will react with a Like to your post once you've been given the proper group, and from there you can create it here: https://www.thetarotforum.com/clubs/

Rules:
1. Only create groups you are able and willing to maintain.

2. The name of the group must be the exact name of the Deck or Book you are studying.

Application:

Deck/s or Book/s you wish to Study:

Does this group already exist?

If so, would you like the posts copied over?

If you have any questions before doing this, please message me!

Deck/s or Book/s you wish to Study: Tarot de Marseille type 1 and 2. Applying Jung and Freud In interpertation, Various books and video documentaries
Does this group already exist? I do not see such a group Listed.

Thank you for considering this.

Mike

Applying Jung to interpreting the Tarot is a great idea.

For example, Amazon lists half a dozen books on Jung and Tarot.

I prefer the RWS deck and think the Study Group should not focus on any particular deck. There is at least one Jung-specific Tarot deck.

I suggest the group name be "Jungian Interpretations of the Tarot".

@Mikeyc  How about Jung and psychology in Tarot?  That way we can also delve into psychology more generally and maybe other linked ideas?

@G-G I agree we shouldn't focus on specific decks because different imagery will evoke and expound ideas.

Yes — let's make the group name "Jung and Psychology in Tarot".

I would like to request for a study group on the Bohemian Gothic Tarot. Thank you!
