My first lover...need help. Do the cards warn me?

Hi everyone! I’m totally new in tarot as I am 19.I did a spread for my year one card for every month and it showed me I will meet a guy which I have in mind to try to find as he is from my past but nothing never hapened Hoping In a relationship and the cards said so arount september. But in both spreads mine and his(same type one card per month and clarifiers) show me a weird situation  around december. I will post pictures below and my explanation but I need everyone help here cause I dont wanna make my first relationship ever with a cheater? I am just really worried and pass it to the cards? Idk..

 

These are the cards in my spread the main card was chariot in reverse then I pulled the clarifier and 2 of cups came out first. Then all the other cards are clarifiers for the chariot reverse except nine of Wands in clarifier for seven of swords. And the magician and the strength reversed are clarifiers for six of cups. Are all these cards try telling me for something bad? Also Eight of swords reversed and seven of cups came out together. Very confused I am total noob in tarot.

Well my explanation is there is gonna be an argument between us for something and a desicion has to be made between 2 things? But can it also show a car accident that proves cheating? Six of cups show me childhood and clarifiers are both have the etternity symbol? Weird. Eight of swords reversed says you will see clerarly for seven of cups that are illusions.  I hate seven of swords And the ten of cups reversed cause something sneaky will be going on? So confused. These are the cards in his spread. Very simiral cards some the same. The chariot reversed  was the main December card again all the other cards are the clarifiers except the ace of penatcles cause I asked what will be the result for December and this card came. Also eight of pentacles was very interesting cause I asked if I will have a role in all this situation and this card came out. My explanation here is the same.. looks weird and dark.

 

*Just to mention some things if he is the guy I am thinking he is in a very fake relationship right now with a cancer. Also I knew his best friend for years and he liked me. I Went out once with his friend and he got mad but I was going for him and never knew.

Recently I told his bestfriend the truth and they had a conflict  I am sure.

also I have to tell you I know them for five years and they both liked me all these years.

This guy I did the reading actually sees me as the high priestess in an another spread and I like him a lot but I dont want to be betrayed in my first ever love.

Hi Xristy! It's great that you're picking up tarot, well done for putting so much thought into your reading and looking for connections, that's always really important.

 

You mentioned that you're a beginner and I noticed you pulled several clarifying cards. I find sometimes that that can actually make things more confusing, especially once you start layering them on top of each other! It might be easier if you strip it back to the first cards you drew, or leave it a few days/weeks and then try the reading again with less cards, but spend more time with just those cards. Tarot can be funny in the way it plays out, sometimes it can take a very long time for things to manifest.

 

That said: if you have doubts about his behaviour in his existing relationship, why are you considering being in a relationship with him yourself? Do you think he'd treat you differently, and if so, why do you think that?

Hello..thnx for the reply. I am always wondered about everything. When I say he is in a fake relationship I mean he is thinking about me like he did all these years and he is with the girl just because. I like him a lot but dont want to get hurt. The cards confuse me what do you think?

Hi Xristy, personally I don't work with reversed cards myself, but looking at your spread for yourself I see a lot of cards which relate in some way to inner conflict. Probably about a third of them. I think this reflects your state of mind regarding this person - you seem to be putting a lot of energy into trying to figure out what they're thinking, so that you feel like you have enough knowledge to make an informed decision.

 

My honest advice is to put this down for a day or two, and then draw another reading based on what you need to know about this person. Just two or three cards should be enough to give you the clarity you're seeking. Situation - Advice - Outcome is a good format to use in a spread.

 

I'm sorry I can't go into more detail but I'm really, really bad at reading reversals, it's just not something I do, and with so many of them in your spread I can't really comment on what it all means. There are others in the forum though who are excellent with reversals so one of them will chime in if they feel able to offer you more insight!

 

My best advice to you is keep it simple. It's so easy to get tangled up with this many cards, especially in the beginning stages of learning. Go easy on yourself :)

Welcome! I love that you are wanting to protect your heart and enter into an important relationship with a clear head. It's normal to have some trepidation about new relationships. Vulnerability can be scarey.

 

I'm wondering if your intuition is telling you something you don't like, and you want the cards to give you some comfort. I could be off base and mis-interpreting some of the things you said, but it's so important to listen to the wisdom of our Inner Teacher.

 

I'm still a beginner with Tarot (reading for just over one year) and have been on this forum for a while but don't post much, so take what I have to say with a grain of salt. It's my understanding that readings we do for ourselves are especially tricky, because of our lack of objectivity, so kudos to you.

 

One of the most helpful things I've learned from all the wisdom here and from my Tarot mentors, is that to get a clear answer, it helps to ask a clear question. Also multiple clarifiers can just cause more confusion. To know what your cards are saying, it would be helpful to know exactly what you’re asking. Also, like Albadawn mentioned, simplifying your spread as well with fewer cards might be helpful.
