EmpyreanKnight Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 I always liked the Thoth Tarot. The first one I got, a used Greenie, was really interesting, and (not to be TMI) smelled like it had been used in some, erm, magical rituals of a certain kind. :-* :o
Whisper Posted January 28, 2018 Posted January 28, 2018 I only used the Thoth for a few readings this week, but while all has been excellent as per usual, there is ONE reading that almost knocked my socks off. It's so preternaturally accurate that it stunned me. With a host of cards it issued a direct challenge, looked me in the eye and declared "Now you know what I'm all about" with a devilish grin. It cemented the Thoth as my all-time favorite deck, as the blood red rose that has always been meant to be mine. Love is such a wonderful thing, isn't it? :)) Interesting about the Thoth. Some people adore it; others are really fearful of it. I'm glad that you've found your Tarot "soul mate". :) I'm happy about this too. :D But well - ahem - my heart is a generous thing, and it has so much love to give. To many decks that is. :P Btw - have you found your soulmate deck, Shivani? Not sure, EK. The Osho Zen might be the closest I have come. For guidance, that is. I confess that I am always in awe at The Journey Into Egypt, but the Druidcraft has spoken most truly, so far. I don't think I have, yet. I look and look, and have many, many Tarot decks, but TJIET is taking me over the most, so far. I think I have to work with it a lot more because I've only had it for a few months and don't know, yet, how truly it will divine for me.
