It's quite a hard one to find a song for each one. I did think about breaking it down into genres first e.g.

Pentacles might like Folk

Cups might enjoy love songs

Wands something with a 'latin'' flavour

Swords might like songs with a message (although Metal did come to mind too).

As I listen to plenty of Folk Music, I've picked folk songs (or near enough...) to represent each Court figure.  I found this a very hard exercise to do and it really made me think about each court figure.

 

King of Swords - Silent Majority (Paul McKenna

This King is all about truth, authority and intellectual power.  This song might seem a strange choice.  But I feel the message behind this song is all about standing up for truth and taking action for what is right and making the right choice if you are in a position of authority.  I feel that the message being this song is important for this King.

Queen of Swords - Chickens In The Garden (The Watersons)

This Queen is independent and honest.  She communicates clearly and directly.  This song I feel embodies that message.  There is a sense of clear, direct communication between the people.  They all seem independent to me and its all very honest :)

Knight of Swords - The Galway Farmer (Show of Hands)

The man in this song is driven by success, it wants to succeed and I sense he would take fast action to get to his ambition!  To me, this makes me think of the Knight of Swords!

This page is full of curiosity and new ideas and new ways of communicating.  This song embodies the first two parts of this - the nutcrackers and sugartongs are full of curiosity and willing to try out a new idea (even if it might end badly!)

This King is a natural leader and full of honour and vision.  The Bold Fusilier in this song seems to embody that to me.  He calls to the people of the land to gain soldiers who want honour and to help with the wars!

This Queen is full of exuberance and warmth and a strong determination to get what she wants.  The cabin boy in question (at least at the start!) reminds me of the Queen of Wands.  Full of determination and willing to take action to get what she wants!

Knight of Wands - Saint George (John Kirkpatrick)

This Knight is full of energy and impulsive actions - all for the good of everyone.  He has a sense of adventure and determination about him!  I feel this is embodied in this song by John Kirkpatrick!

This Page is full of hope with new adventures waiting for him.  He wants to explore and is a free spirit!  This song could be about the adventures he comes up against!

 

King of Cups - Johnny Be Fair (Ruth Notman)

This King is emotionally balanced, compassionate and diplomatic.  The narrator in this song loves a young man (called Johnny) but is told he is her brother so diplomatically she decides not to marry him.  She is diplomatic and compassionate (and hilariously manages to get the man she wants, but I won't spoil the song).  The message of the song doesn't really fit with this King...but I associate the narrator with this King!

Queen of Cups - Waiting For The Lark (Jackie Oates)

This Queen is a sensitive soul.  She is compassionate and caring, full of beautiful emotion.  This song is a lullaby sung from a mother to a child.  The mother is gentle and kind and you can feel the love in her song.  You can feel how much she cares about her child and I just feel that she must be a sensitive, Queen of Cups woman.

Knight of Cups - Just As The Tide Was Flowing (Isambarde)

This knight is creative, romantic and full of charm and beauty.  This song is a beautiful romantic ballad about the meeting of a beautiful girl and a young man.  It just seems to embody the sensitive soul that is the Knight of Cups!

This Page is full of hope and curiosity.  New possibilities and youthful enthusiam.  Ready for creative opportunities.  This song is about dancing to the sun to herald the start of Spring and the season of new beginnings.  It makes me think of the youthful enthusiasm of this Page and new beginnings.  The song feels me with a flood of happy emotions and good memories and feels suitable for this page!

This King knows how the world works and understands the turning of the year and how it all fits together in the physical world.  He is not afraid of hard work either.  This song celebrates all that to me!

Queen of Pentacles - Haven (Coope, Boyes and Simpson)

This Queen is a nurturing individual who is trustworthy and down-to-earth.  This song is all about finding a haven and feeling safe and secure.  This Queen I feel could help to provide that stability and security, a safe haven of a woman.

Knight of Pentacles - The Chemical Worker's Song (Great Big Sea)

This Knight works hard for his living, no matter what.  He is loyal and steadfast and works well with routine.  This song embodies the sense of hard work and sticking with things, despite how bad they may get!

This page is focused on developing skills and learning how to work with the world.  On the surface, this song reminds me of the joy of learning to knit and is about developing a new skill and making something with mistakes along the way and learning from them.
