We will not see a total solar eclipse again for twenty years in this part of the world. According to Michelle Bell, founder of the astrology app ‘Cosmic Fusion’, “The solar eclipse amplifies the new moon energy, marking it as a time of significant change, unexpected developments, and powerful revelations that can redirect our life paths.” We entered Mercury Retrograde on April 1. Mercury Retrograde gets a bad rap for all kinds of scrambled communications and upset connections. I really like how Rob Brezsny in his most recent Freewill Astrology newsletter re-frames things. Mercury Retrograde is actually an opportunity for refining and deepening how we communicate — especially in imaginative and ingenious new ways. So our foxy trickster in Card No. 6 puts us on notice for how some surprising new information may come to us in an unexpected way. So have a deck prepared.
