I was just curious about the Fairy Lights Tarot by Lucia Mattioli, does anybody here own it? Fairy Lights Tarot

 

I love the artwork and I really like the concept of a deck with pairing cards so I would like some opinions on what its like to read with.

 

Do you find it easy to read and do you always feel like you have to read the cards with their pair or not?

 

Any insights welcome  :)

I have it. The artwork is really lovely and it's easy to read with intuitively. The images are non-traditional so you can't necessarily look at a card and immediately think '3 of Wands'. If that doesn't bother you, it's fun to read with - the images sort of draw you into that world and spark all sorts of thoughts.

The fact that its not a clone and has a lot of different images is one of the things I find intriguing about the deck. I enjoy reading with a more intuitive style so this deck sounds like it would work really well for that.  That's good to know !

I have it and I love it. It suits intuitive reading style very well indeed.

I trimmed the cards and searched for the pairs that belonged together and it gave a lot of depth to the readings. I think the old threads may still be found in the Aeclectic Tarot Study Group section.

I've only seen a few of the card pairings and some of them seem like odd couples. So I'm really interested in seeing how they work together.

 

I did have a brief look on AT and I'm definitely getting the deck so will go and have a closer look at the study group once I receive it.
