Delighted to have stumbled upon this forum!  😊

My journey with tarot began back in middle school when no one to share the difficulty I was experiencing at the time. Therefore, I started to conversing with a tarot deck (a deck with radiant RWS images, the only deck I could find at that time). I remember being speechless seeing it showing [Star reversed, Moon reversed, Tower reversed] for a dream I had in which my lips withered like rotten petals and fell onto the ground, the messages spoke directly to my mind.

 

Fast forward to my late 20s, and here I am, miles away from my hometown, still grappling with feelings of emptiness. I started to collect decks as if there would be more friends to talk to, and developed a small collection over the years. I predominantly using digital apps (Universal RWS, Pagan Cats, Urban and Deviant Moon and others by The Fool's Dog), But I do enjoy reading with physical deck as well, using Fountain Tarot, Tarot of the Animal Lords and Fantastic Menagerie Tarot.

 

I use tarot for new perspectives and to understand fictional characters. I inclined to read intuitively, interpret the imagery to form the connection between the cards first, then attempt to apply the scattered knowledge I accumulated from various resources (books and posts from Internet) for deeper understanding. With that being said, I am currently reading Way of Tarot to learn TdM.

Welcome to the community @Rshwdrz Glad you have found us here, I think I found my first deck around the same time as you 🙂 

I think tarot card show up in our dreams sometimes as short hand messages. There doesn't have to be a lot of symbols and we can understand the cards.

You can access the exchange and reading areas and get more posting freedom, when you have made 5 posts around the place. If you feel like reading for others, we have tarot circles where you work with a member that month and exchange. They begin at the beginning of each month. Or you can just post about your decks in the decks sections, lots of ways to join in discussions here 🙂

And sorry for the misunderstanding in my post - the reading was done when I was awake, as I was curious about the meaning of the dream…the three consecutive major arcana were picked individually from a heavily-used and fully shuffled deck, which left me a deep impression : D
