Rose Lalonde Posted June 11, 2024 Posted June 11, 2024 (edited) Publisher Liminal 11 has some decks in mass market sales (Modern Witch, Seed & Sickle, etc.), but they also have limited editions that are only available through their site. If you're thinking of ordering one of those, you may want to consider ordering well in advance of when you need it if you're outside the UK (Shipping within the UK is handled separately, and I have no experience with it). Their facebook and Instagram show comments from people asking for someone to please answer their emails or let them know when they'll receive their order. For me, emails got a reply after one week, and items shipped out a little over a month after I ordered them. Don't have them yet. Alone, my issue might have been a glitch, but social media tells me it's a trend, so I thought I'd pass along in case anyone needs a deck by a particular date. They do accept paypal, so there's the opportunity so submit a claim, and it does seem like everyone gets their orders in the end. They don't promise a specific shipping time, only saying, "We process orders as fast as we can, but as a small business sometimes there can be unexpected delays." Edited June 11, 2024 by Rose Lalonde
DanielJUK Posted June 12, 2024 Posted June 12, 2024 I think they are a really small publisher and outfit! When they started they published comic books and things and were 2 business partners. Then they started to publish decks by comic artists and they became HUGE! They are often at conventions around the UK but I am not sure how many staff they have after the original 2! So that is probably the issue here. They got too big for their size. I bought the Modern Witch special edition on release, directly from them and it had a long lead time and took ages to come. I was happy but it was slow. They seem like a proper business, just are slow and I suspect don't have many workers dealing with everything. I think have patience with them, they do fulfil orders and reply in the end 😀
Rose Lalonde Posted June 12, 2024 Author Posted June 12, 2024 Yeah, I’m not saying don’t order from them, only that if it’s a birthday gift or something like that, best to buy well in advance.
