The princess of magic invokes the earth spirit in an ancient henge. Nimue, Nemhain, Nemesis, or Diana Nemetona were some of the druidic/dryadic names of the incarnate Moon-goddess. Her Crone form brought an end to each chosen king in his turn, as Nimue brought death to her wizard-consort Merlin in the Grail legends. The princess means the wisdom of the ages: deep learning in esoteric matters, scholarly concentrations, the pursuit of knowledge, particularly knowledge of the past.
