Ix Chel Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 15. The Knight of Pentacles is hosting a dinner party. What is the dress code? The Knight of Pentacles is a practical and down to earth guy. So he will have as dress code casual.
Starlight Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 This is a tricky question, too. As un-PC as this sounds, I think this all depends on their income level because aesthetics plays a part in the Pentacles' make up, for me. Working class = smart casual and comfortable. Middle class = smart (and comfortable, hopefully) Upper class = Semi formal or cocktail, perhaps.
EmpyreanKnight Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 My initial reactions was that it would depend on the dinner party - I mean some are simply congenial get-togethers while others are black-tie affairs. But I thought about what kind of dinner parties a Knight of Pentacles would like to host. The King of Pentacles is the type to use social occasions to display his wealth and influence and to bolster his connections too, but the Knight is not yet too sophisticated for that. It would have to be a warm, friendly affair with all his bros and their plus ones, so dressy casual should be enough.
Freyja's Daughter Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Fun question. Sad to say but he is not a guy I would be that interested in dating, but would happily have as a friend. He is the guy friend I would call to complain about a playboy Knight of Cups fling, or my toxic breakup with the sociopathic boyfriend the Knight of Swords or narcissistic Knight of Wands. ( ... or a man who embodies both negative reversed aspects of the two - real life meets story here as that recently happened....) Unfortunately all the Knights I meet to date are not shining in armour but tarnished beyond repair, embodying the reversed and negative aspects of their suit. But I digress.... LOL. As for the dull Knight of Pentacles dinner party? A hastily thrown affair of BYOB and catering from Mel's Pizza down the street. A brief tidy and pick up of a weeks worth of underwear off the floor, clear the clutter and answer the doorbell. All friends will be in appearance, with great conversation, alcohol, (obligatory weed) and good music and I will get very very drunk and stoned and pass out in his bed... but no sex, because firstly I have no interest, and secondly he is intimidated by me and has a secret crush. Besides, I was eyeing up his new vain Knight of Wands co-worker earlier that evening and will be asking about him at the next days hungover brunch. He will be disappointed, hoping my drunken night over in his bed meant something, but that conversation will assure him it didn't. But no matter, he will always be a good solid friend ready to listen to the inevitable sob story I will tell after the disastrous ending of yet another mad passionate fling or wild and kinky romp with one of the other Knights of the realm. But count me in on this party, and I will bring a magnum of wine and a family bag of Cool Ranch Doritos.... (my fave) Of course.... this scenario described perfectly my young and wild single days... as a single parent, life has altered dramatically, but it is fun to fantasize the old days and what ifs.... ;)
Jewel Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 I would say casual dress. He would want his guests to feel comfortable.
Guest Empathic_Cap Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 Something that is either earthly or luxurious even both such as leather and fur possibly any animal product as these items are an earthy element and very luxurious after we all we are dealing with Virgo, Taurus and Capricorn energies here. Where both the Taurus is a bull/cow and the Capricorn a goat which are animals. Where abouts we have the Virgo who's a human so this is seriously hinting to a person who enjoy animal products for the earthly feeling and appearance.
skywatching Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 I would say casual too, the Knight of Pentacles is very down to earth and laid back
Cobweb Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 I'd expect it to be a good dinner party: he's a natural planner and all the pentacles like the finer things in life. So the food will be good, the wine will go with the food, and he'll have got his best tableware and glassware out. As he's made an effort, he'll expect his guests to do so as well. (Though if you ask him what the dress code is, he'll do that irritating man thing of saying he doesn't know and it doesn't matter. But what he means by that is that it doesn't matter what particular outfit you wear as long as it's appropriate. If it's not appropriate, he will notice and will remember. But no guidance will be given in advance as to the meaning of "appropriate". It might be a test. Or it might just be him being polite.) (I've got some very close family members who are definitely pentacles and I think it shows! :D )

Thoughtful Posted August 26, 2018 Posted August 26, 2018 The Knight of Pentacles likes things in his life to be just so. He is not one for totally casual wear when hosting a dinner party, and he would not want to insist on formal attire either. So l feel it would be a smart/casual dress code for him.
Ratty Posted August 26, 2018 Posted August 26, 2018 Toga. Of course it was going to be smart casual, but the Knight of Wands hearing the word Party, turned up as if by magic, and it somehow turned into a 1980's Frat theme. The Knight of Cups said, I'll ring up a few girls I know. Then the Knight of Swords said, Guys, if we're gonna do this, we're gonna do it right!
Oumee Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 I think it would be black tie...beautiful ladies in long dress and gentlemen in black suits would be something he would love to see. O. <3 <3 <3
