Etteilla tarot - resources, decks?

I'm really liking my journey into the Tarot de Marseille using a Nicolas Conver deck and Yoav Ben-Dov's The Marseille Tarot Revealed. It has been difficult and rewarding so far. While researching more about pips, I landed on another tarot tradition that I was unaware of: Etteilla.

Unlike the handful of highly-recommended TdM books to get started with, and countless decks to pick from, approaching the Etteilla tradition seems like trying to hug a hedgehog. There's barely anything in English and what does exist is scattered among haphazard translations, blogs, and YouTube videos. After hours of researching, I've come to the following items:

What am I missing? What else is out there that you'd recommend for Etteilla study?

Others can tell you more about Eteilla. There's an Eteilla study group or club on this forum.

I have the Lo Scarabeo deck you link.  I got it for historic reference and teaching purposes -- never actually read with it. But it's a decent deck for the price.

When studying Eteilla  I use this website. It's free and seems thoroughly researched.

The Etteilla study group is here, you are welcome to join....

It's @dancing_moon's great work

There are deck discussions and card by card threads in there.

I can move this thread to one of the specific sections but cannot decide if it fits TdM or Historic Tarot. I will leave it here for now.

What a fantastic website, thank you! I see they also made their own deck. Intriguing…

I figured I might as well ask here in this thread. Is there any reason why the "2" pips are scenic in Type I but no others? It's something I noticed when looking at scans.

I imagine they illustrate the elements assigned to each suit (Wands - Earth, Cups - Water, Swords - Air, Coins - Fire). Why they didn't make it to the later editions is anyone's guess - I suspect the later publishers simply didn't realize/give much thought to the significance (just like they skipped/altered a few other things).

Well, I have a deck en route that I'm excited to dive into. It's a Type I. Woohoo!

I was looking at other books on Etteilla and came across this one on Amazon. It seems fairly comprehensive, but the Google translate gives me pause... Is anyone here familiar at all with this book? Would it be worth getting to accompany the websites above, or should those + my intuition be enough to get going?
