The Carromantic Magician Artist

Featured Replies

Hi all! I originally got into reading Smith Waite back in high school some twenty odd years ago. I find myself returning to many things I enjoyed in childhood in my thirties including art, poetry, performance magic, and Magic and cartomancy along with other forms of divination. These days my focus has shifted to the Tarot de Marseille and other pip decks, including standard playing cards, though I still have and play with a number of “English” decks, including various Smith Waite and RWS influenced and Thoth decks. Though I’m much more interested in the former than the latter, which I’ve only been reading since earlier this year. My primary method is a blend of Ben-Dov’s Open Reading, Hedgewytch Cartomancy, and Roger J. Horne’s Devil’s Picture-Book mnemonic poem

Thank you all for the warm welcome! It’s been easily twenty years since I’ve been on an old school bbs. It’s definitely got a different feel than Reddit, but I’m liking it. Looking forward to getting to know you all better

Hi I’m new here, I am fairly new to reading any advice or suggestions would be appreciated from experienced readers and new readers alike.
I would love to eventually learn to be more confident in my readings and my interpretations of the cards.
I love research on tarot and I’m learning more every day however my life has been very complicated recently and I feel doing readings for myself has helped me through it so far and I want to help others through tarot the way it has helped me understand what is happening when my life has seemed so chaotic.
