Cat Decks!

I have been egged on by @Misterei to ask you to show-and-tell your cat decks here!  Readings with cat decks are also welcome.  Let’s overrun the forum with kitties!

 

I’ll start.  I have 7 cat tarots (3 of which are majors-only) and 6 cat oracles.

First, my majors-only cats: Tarot for Cats, art by Kipling West; Chat du Marseille by Elaine Moerti, 2004; and I Taro Gatti, Cerena Ciai per Mastri Cartai Editori.

The rest of the cat tarots:  Baroque Bohemian Cats’ Tarot, second edition; Into the Void: The Black Cat Tarot; Medieval Cat Tarot; and Mystical Cats Tarot.

 

 

Oracles:  Cats Lenormand is self-explanatory.  Cat Comfort Cards is a Hay House double-sided deck with advice based on cat puns.  Cosmic Cat Wisdom Cards have keywords and advice on large cards.  Cats in the Garden is actually an astrology deck, with a card and keyword (and cat!) for the sun, moon, and rising in each sign.

 

 

Mythic Cats Oracle Deck + Cosmic Cats Oracle portray fantasy cats made up by the artist plus spread cards (called cores).  (The cosmic cats just arrived from Kickstarter this week!)

 

 

My favorite cat tarot is Mystical Cats Tarot.  It just checks all the boxes.  But I have a soft place in my heart for Tarot for Cats as one of my first decks.  Oh, yes, and my avatar.  I haven’t decided on a favorite oracle yet.

Good plan!  Let's do it!  I have one ancient (18 years old) little black cat Sophie.  I'll try to catch a flattering photo after her morning nap!  Oh, and I might as well add the grandcats, Little Dude, a reclusive dusty striper, and Malarkey, a fluffy silly tuxedo girl who took over my granddaughter's first Christmas present.  Of course!

I have no cat just now. But I spend a lot of time with the 5 - well there are 8, but I rarely see the other 3 - cats next door.

For some reason, I’ve excluded cat tarots from my pursuit, but I very much enjoy looking at them. The Cosmic Cats are fabulous!

I have no live critters anymore. Those who remember me from AT will recall that during my marriage we had 2 neutered male cats: Oreo, 2000-2016, and Macaroon (Mackie), 2007-2023 (hubby passed before Mackie did). You can guess their colors from their names. Oreo was named by his first owners (his mother's owners), but I named Mackie. (And Hubby insisted on spelling his nickname "Maccy"!)
