21. Which member of the Court is the least likely to get involved in drama?

 

It has to be someone of the Swords suite. I think the Queen of Swords, she is harder than the King of Swords (and he is a judge in the courtroom). But the Queen of Swords can create drama in other lives, because she can be hard and emotionless, but she will be unaffected of this. The most dramatic queen is in my opinion the Queen of Wands.

I was thinking more along the lines of someone in the Pentacles suit. They are quite down to earth and always has something to keep themselves busy with so I don't really imagine them creating or getting very caught up in drama. But who? Maybe the Queen? For some weird reason I was thinking about the very slow and determined Knight of Pentacles. I think his kindred Knights could be good at getting caught up in drama but he's so slow and stubborn he might just not get into it, haha.

 

The Queen of Swords is so very double edged here. She could easily rise above all petty things like drama, or she could be a master manipulator behind it all. Kind of makes me think of so many women in the Icelandic Sagas, who may not be directly involved in the killings between the clans but they do know how to fire up their male family members to do what they plot :P

I agree with you, the Pentacles suite will also not get involved in drama. They want to solve the drama.

A reversed Queen of Swords is really not a nice person to meet, she is indeed a master manipulator.

The King of Swords presents an aloof and austere exterior. He likes thinking things through before acting on something and heavily dislikes emotional outbursts. He prizes logic and rationality, so he doesn't want to get enmeshed in any drama.

 

I think that while the Queen of Swords might display more sangfroid, she won't be able to resist dipping her feet in the game especially if it has a high chance of ending up to her advantage.

Sword courts are driven to express and defend their opinions, plus they're prone to irritability/loss of temper: A very quick trip to drama, at times... So, I'd have to go with Pent courts on this one — the King, in particular; not much would ruffle him... Then again, I could see the Knight being very hard to stir up... And the Queen would probably just let drama roll right off her back. (Only the Page might be childishly lively enough to get embroiled in drama, IMO.) Hmm, a three-way Pent court tie maybe?
